After more than 20 years in business, we have decided to hang up our aprons.

This was not an easy decision. Susie’s has been part of our lives — and this community — for over two decades. We’ve had the privilege of being part of birthdays, weddings, baby showers, important milestones, corporate events, holidays, and everyday celebrations. We are incredibly grateful for that, and it’s those connections we will truly miss the most.

As our lease expiry approached, we took time to reflect on what the future would look like for us and ultimately made the decision ourselves to close this chapter. We were unable to come to terms on a path forward that felt right, and after a great deal of reflection, we realized our hearts simply aren’t in running a retail business anymore. We don’t have the desire to take on the physical and emotional demands of relocating the bakery, and after more than 20 years, we feel it is the right time to step away and begin our next journey.

Our final day of retail operations will be Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Between now and then, we will continue operating as usual, baking fresh every day and serving our customers just as we always have. We are committed to finishing strong and making these final weeks the best they can be.

If you have a Susie’s gift certificate, please plan to redeem it by May 23, 2026, as they will have no value after we close.
